Founded by Yianni King and Chris Raptis in 2010, our family-owned gem at 5950 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA, has become the go-to destination for gyro enthusiasts and catering connoisseurs.
At Olympos, we pride ourselves on our groundbreaking tzatziki sauces, especially our signature creation, the Hades Sauce - the world’s first spicy tzatziki. This much-loved and often imitated fiery delight, alongside our unique Ranch, BBQ, and Teriyaki tzatziki sauces, sets us apart. Yianni King, a South Side Pittsburgh native & graduate of Brashear High, turned his unconventional teenage years and deep-rooted passion for creative recipes into a thriving business. Eschewing college for culinary dreams, Yianni’s vision and tenacity brought Olympos to life. Alongside his wife Jamie, Yianni ensures that every day at Olympos is a testament to hard work, innovation, and a love for creating the best gyro a palate can taste. Yianni is also a huge Archery Hunter, Fisherman & Sports Fanatic supporting causes like the annual Disabled Hunt in South Fayette in addition to local school sporting events. Oh & If you been to our locaton you now how much we love art & hydroponic gardening!
Jamie King , A Brashear High & Robert Morris College Graduate with a degree in computer information system's, decided in 2020 to put aside the corperate grind to bring her many years of restaurant experience & value to our family establishment. Jamie enjoys shooting firearms, working out & being an awesome mom to our daughter.
Chris (Papou) Raptis, hailing from the island of Ikaria, Greece, brings a touch of his homeland to the heart of Pennsylvania. His journey from the Greek Merchant Marines to the painting industry in the U.S. and then to co-founding Olympos is a story of resilience and new beginnings. At 88 years old Chris Now Spends His Days Retired & Enjoying His Great Grandchildren.
